Since then, founding pastor Virgilio Sierra, Sr. passed on the torch of the Lead Pastor role to his son Pastor Virgilio Sierra, Jr. (a.k.a. Pastor Virg), and in February of 2015, the church was re-launched with the new name “Vertical Church” (“Iglesia Vertical”). Pastor Virg immediately identified that part of the vision of Vertical Church would be to be a multi-cultural, multi-generational church that welcomes people of all backgrounds. Due to the fact that Pastor Virg is completely bilingual, the re-launch included an intentional and strategic new English service that allowed us to cater to the needs and minister to the English-speaking community that surrounds us.

Throughout the years, Vertical Church has won thousands of souls for Christ through our services, missions, and ministries. We have strengthened and guided innumerable families in South Florida and we have equipped leaders that are making an impact in people’s lives wherever they go. We have worked, strategized, and prayed tirelessly so that anyone who comes in contact with our ministry, or our church’s members, will experience the unconditional love of Christ.

When we take a look at our communities and throughout the whole world, we see the spiritual needs of families and marriages, and we realize that there is much work to be done.
